Generations Vintage after REFRESH facade improvement
NEST received funding from the City of Cincinnati’s NBDIP for Northside’s REFRESH 1.0 Program. 15 businesses have been selected to participate in exterior improvements that will enhance Northside’s vibrant business district. Improvements include facade improvement, storefront repairs, signage, awnings and shade structures, exterior hardscapes, exterior amenities. This transformative effort is a great tool for neighborhood improvements without the heavy cost burdens for business owners.
Janelle Kelpa of Chroma Architecture + Design was selected as the architect for these projects. The NEST team is working closely with building and business owners to bring their exterior improvements to life.
REFRESH 2.0 is funded by the Haile Foundation and supports signage for 5 small businesses. New signs are coming summer 2026!
